I have a query. Its about the PROM password on a SUN ULTRA5.
I am the administrator of a UNIX network, which is actually a private network within the company that I work for. The IT department who supplied the workstations will not remove the PROM passwords - I need it removed in order to do install/maintain each workstation individually. (They need the password left on the PROM, so they can charge my section each time I need access to the PROM!!) Is there anyway that I can get this password by command/series of commands when I log on as Super-User?
