We're running SCO Open Server 5. On occassion we need to disable/enable HP print services. There's nothing that I have found in the HP printer manager that allows for this. I know we can stop/start print services via SCOADMIN. On occassion one of our HP printers will generate an error, the msg in syslog(in part): "WARNING: allocb failed - NSTRPAGES exceeded". The only way we've been able fix these errors is to disable/enable print services and reboot.
Thank you in advance for any help or sarcasm you may have to offer. |

Thank you for your assistance. Netstat -m did come up with a non-zero number for mblks. Not sure yet what that means.
As for the possibility of disabling/enabling just the HP printers do you think that's something that can be done ? Thanks again |
