SunOS 5.8 performance issue

Hi all

On my SUNOS 5.8 server I am facing a serious performance issue.
After booting within 20-25 days the system performance degrates, even I can't executes commands such as
df, top, etc the only options remains to reboot the system.

There is no such memory consuming process runs and the system has enough space.
Even the syslogs doesn't say much
any idea how to findout the cause...

Thanks

You really need to put more information.

What applications is the server running? Are system configurations matching any DB apps (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL)...
What is syslog showing? Do you have it configured to show you a minimal amount of info, or grabbing everything it can?
How many users? Doing what?
How many daemons? Doing what?
How many cron jobs? Doing what?
How much memory?
How much disk space (OS and Apps)?
What type of server? (make/model)
How long has this been happening? Did it just start recently or always been like this?

Since I admin servers running Solaris 8 that have been up for 1000+ and 2000+ days and run fine, I know it's not a time limit of days.
