Consconfig : no screen found ???

I am using solaris 10 x86 and I just installed the newest recommended patch cluster - after I did I get the error -

Warning:consconfig:no screen found

Cannot find driver for console framebuffer

And then the computer reboots - it will do this over and over and over

Is their a way to tell it what device to use for the framebuffer ?

I dont know if this helps but my machine does use a nvidia driver -

Tons of thanks for any help

EDIT:

Ok so I went into failsafe and used the default device_aliases and it lets me boot - but now it says in /var/dt/Xerrors

EE no devices found

UPDATE:

Ok so I used a different driver and it seams to work exept now it put up the splash screen and then freezes - in /var/dt/Xerrors it says -

NVIDIA(0):Failed to obtain a shared memory identifier

Aybody know what that means?

If you know the answer let me know ... ill be googling in the meantime
