how to configure automounting in HPUX

Hi,
could any one help me by giving the steps to configure automount on HPUX? i have tried as below but it is not working. Pls tell me where i went wrong?

automount configuration:

1. vi /etc/auto_master
/sunil /etc/auto.sunil

vi /etc/auto.sunil
tedata -rw,rsize=4096,wsize=4096,timeo=800 dwd01:/vol/reposd/data

2. vi /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf
set the below to 1.
NFS_CLIENT=1
AUTOMOUNT=1
AUTOFS=1

3. /sbin/init.d/nfs.client start

when i am changing to mount point sunil,
cd /sunil/tedata
it is giving the below message
sh: /sunil: The specified path name is not a directory.

pls tell me where i went wrong. thanks in advance.
