how to configure automounting in HPUX
Hi,
could any one help me by giving the steps to configure automount on HPUX? i have tried as below but it is not working. Pls tell me where i went wrong? automount configuration: 1. vi /etc/auto_master /sunil /etc/auto.sunil vi /etc/auto.sunil tedata -rw,rsize=4096,wsize=4096,timeo=800 dwd01:/vol/reposd/data 2. vi /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf set the below to 1. NFS_CLIENT=1 AUTOMOUNT=1 AUTOFS=1 3. /sbin/init.d/nfs.client start when i am changing to mount point sunil, cd /sunil/tedata it is giving the below message sh: /sunil: The specified path name is not a directory. pls tell me where i went wrong. thanks in advance. -Sunilkumar V Edit/Delete Message |
