LDAP request from unix into Active Directory
Hi all,
I experienced a problem when making a LDAP search from Unix Netscape or Unix Mozilla adressbooks into my Active Directory LDAP db for email addresses. I add my Domain Controller hostname and the LDAP root dir to search in. For example: Name: AD LDAP server: gullvi Search Root: ou=BDL,dc=bauta,dc=se When I after this configuration opens up the addressbook and type in a value to search for I get "Failed to search 'AD' due to LDAp error 'Operations error' (0x1)" I also choosed to always have to type in login+pasword info for authentication. I have single sign on in both environments. I made the same configuration in MS outlook and there it works fine. I can't see any error in the security log on my DC. Does anyone know what might be wrong? /Tonlu |
