Alias database error
I am running Postfix 2.3 on FreeBSd 6.1 everytime I use the postalias command I get this error message that says no mapping in /etc/mail/mailer.conf
hash database is installed and that is what is uncommented out in my main.cf file in the mailer.conf file everthing is pointing /usr/local/sbin/sendmail which is correct for postfix. I added the lines hostat and purgestat to the mailer.conf file but that didn't change anything. I tried to recreate a new mailer.conf file, but that didn't work either. I don't know what else to try. The newaliases commands gives me the same error also postalias /etc/mail/aliases didn't work usr/local/sbin/postalias /etc/mail.aliases didn't work newaliases command didn't work either I did postconf -m it shows the hash database is installed I tried postalias hash:/etc/mail/aliases same error |
