Stopping password prompt

hi

I have installed a new Linux machine and having another machine having Solaris on it. i want that when i log into my solaris machine using rlogin from Linux machine then no password prompt occurs...

On you Solaris box, create a file on / named .rhosts
In this file, write the name of your Linux box.
This should do the trick.

Make sure that the .rhosts file is owned by root, has read/write permission for root, and read only for group and others, or it won't work...

thanks for ur help.....the password prompting has stopped..
but rcp is not working when i send something fron Solaris to Linux......
Please could u suggest something..
