Hi,
I have some problem with sendmail daemon. Earlier it was working fine as I used to get alert mail through crontab jobs. Two days back it stopped sending alert messages. When I executed mail command from shell prompt, I could read all the pending messages, generated through crontab scripts. Looks like the mail is not getting dispatched. I tried to restart the sendmail daemon with : /etc/init.d/sendmail stop /etc/init.d/sendmail start it didn't work. Any ideas, what could be going wrong.. For your information :- uname -a on the machine gives :- SunOS pine 5.8 Generic_108528-19 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4 Thanks in advance Amit |
