Hi friends,
i have a dynamically linked file on my solaris system.this is script that runs regularly. How can i read the contents of that ? when i tried to say "vi filename " then it says executable and nothing is seen. Please help. thanks in advance Veera |

thanks a lot for the reply. when i type file cgw(which is the filename) this is the output that i am getting cgw: PA-RISC1.1 shared executable dynamically linked How can i view this file ? thanks in advance Veera |

Actually i thought cgw was also a script and so i was trying to see the contents.Ya with the command that you have given i could see the octal dump. Thanks for your reply Veera |
