server will not boot
Just got a new sun fire v440 server, try to boot server but server will not boot, got the following error message.
"the file just loaded does not appear to be excutedable" boot: cannot open /kernel/sparcv9/unix Enter filename /kernel/sparcv9/unix I thought maybe server is not pre install with OS, so I try to jumpstart server but I kept getting this error messages: "timeout waiting for ARP/RARP packet requesting ip for 0:4:cc:55:b2:a1" the mac address is in my jumpstart /etc/ethers. I also try boot from cd-rom ok: boot cdrom -s but received the error message boot: cannot open /kernel/sparcv9/unix Enter filename /kernel/sparcv9/unix Can you help, please. |
