Record output of already running process
Hi,
So I'm at the begining an 18 hour process. It intermittently sends information to stdout. The problem is that my session is time limited and overnight its going to timeout. I can send the job into the background so it runs and completes, but I'll have lost the stdout information. Is it possible to start logging the stdout of an ALREADY running job? Im familiar with the script command, but that will only work previous to the job. Thanks! |
