how to get private bytes of running process in Linux

Hello unix experts

I would like to know how to get private bytes of process.

I am able to get Virtual bytes of process , but unable to get private bytes of process. plz guide me.

any command to get the private bytes of process .

AFAIK, private bytes and virtual bytes are Microsoft terms - not Unix or GNU/Linux terms. By private bytes do you mean process data, text or stack or some combination of these?
