Question Telnet in Japanese

I'm not sure which forum to post this on but ......

I'm currently using Putty as my Telnet tool which is great BUT Only when using European Character sets.
[MAP ISO8859-1 equiv (MS1252). ]

IMO the standard Japanes windows 2000 and Japanese Windows XP telnet is rubbish ....

Does anyone use a Telnet tool that will handle Japanses character sets? [ ISO932-1 equiv (MS932) ]
