Trouble with broadcomm card Wifi driver build

I'm having trouble getting my WIFI card to work. It's Device ID is :0c:00.0 0280: 14e4:4315 (rev 01). My OS is BT5. The card works with Lucid just fine. I've gone to the Hardware drivers to try and download it but when I try I always get this:

Code:
SystemError: installArchives()failed

I've gone to the broadcomm site and tried what it says in the readme.txt. When I try this:

Code:
apt-get install build-essential linux-headers-generic

I get:

Code:
Setting up bcmwl-kernel-source (5.60.48.36+bdcom-0ubuntu3) ...

broadcom drivers and the kernel break each other, every other release. You might have to either wait for a fix or try downloading/building a newer broadcom driver manually.

Thanks..I'm not quite that savvy to build my own yet. I guess I'll just have to wait.
