Yep, it is strange ..

For me, without doing anything everything is automatically happened .. But it is in 9.04.

Ok, check what is the IP of your machine, route entry, resolv.conf.

Make sure your nameservers are correct in /etc/resolv.conf. That's always what the problem is when my internet gives out.

you first should config your ip and other stuff .
vim /etc/network/interfaces to config it .
