Scigraphica-termcap installation
Hi all,
I am trying to install Scigraphica on Ubuntu 8.10 and Termcap needs to be installed. I cannot find or install Termcap by Synaptic package manager (sudo apt-get install does not work either). I found in some forums that Termcap is not available for Ubuntu 8.10, and ncurses-dev was suggested instead. I tried to install ncurses-dev, but it was not authenticated. Is it really harmful? Any experience with that? How can I get Scigraphica's configure script working? ---------- Post updated at 07:49 PM ---------- Previous update was at 07:43 PM ---------- Sorry, just a correction, I used command sudo apt-get install libncurses-dev ---------- Post updated at 09:36 PM ---------- Previous update was at 07:49 PM ---------- Ok. that's sorted now. I installed libncurses5-dev and the problem was sorted. But now, it asks for XML-config, although I have pkg packages. |
