mount error

hi all,

I been trying to use mount command to unzip iso file. here is the command im using
mount -t iso9660 -o loop file.iso /mnt/cdrom
then i get below error..
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop1,
missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

i tried to use the same command in different ways but no use. if i try with different file, it works.

any one got idea ..
