Completing system identification... Starting remote procedure call (RPC) services: done. System identification complete. NIS domain name is nqa.ireland.sun.com Starting Solaris installation program... Searching for JumpStart directory... Using rules.ok from 129.156.229.190:/electron/jumpstart/dynamic. Checking rules.ok file... /sbin/install-solaris: cannot shift # during an install i get this error and the installation stops. Does anyone know what the problem is?

you'll have to use an alternate compose sequence that does not include the Shift key in your script that is being called. you'll have to check your script file
