identify sar version

Hi,

How do you get the version number for sar tool in Solaris? The version I have does not accept the "-V" as an argument. This question is not as trivial as I first thought (or maybe it is).

Thanks.

Following should work (also reasonable in general):

Code:
# type sar
sar is /usr/bin/sar

# grep "/usr/bin/sar" /var/sadm/install/contents
/usr/bin/sar=../sbin/sar s none SUNWaccu

# pkginfo -x SUNWaccu
SUNWaccu System Accounting, (Usr)
          (sparc) 11.10.0,REV=2005.01.21.15.53
