exceed display

PC: WinXP professional 2002, sp2

when i tried to use XDMCP Brodcast, it's not displaying any ip's and when i used XDMCP Query by giving the ip address, i couldn't see any display. In the task manager it's showing the exe as running.

what could be the problem?

Did you comment the auth display string in the xdm-config file? As I remember, default it is permited to use an X for local display only.

Exceed display

No, i didn't change any settings. I am able to see the xdmcp query window and when i gave the ip and click ok there is nothing displayed but the process is running.

By using xmanager i am able to connect to machines but when i use exceed i am not able to.
