Installaion error:"cannot find:/etc/......"

when i have install solaris10 just now.

I restart the computer.(My computer is base on x86)

I choose boot from solaris10.(I have two OS solaris and windowsXP)

It occur an error on the screen :

cannot find:/etc/devices/mdi_ib_cache:No such file or directory.

it instruct me to boot form failsafe to update the boot archive.

it is first time to start it when i have install it.

what's wrong with that ,last time i install it like this,it can start ,and why not now ?

and then i delete the partion and install it again .

The fault is again.

anybody know how to resolve?
