Help: how to install the VNC to Solaris8?

Help:
I try to capture the screen from the remote server( SunFire880-Solaris8).
I used the software---Xmanager2.
The Properties of Xsession:XDMCP--connection method:XDM Query: Port: 177
When i run this session.the systerm give the following reply: XDMCP connection failed.
So i think may be the XDMCP protocol not run correcttly in serve. but i can make it able. so I think i can install the VNC in the server. may be it is a easy way to capture the screen.
so i download the linux vnc:vnc-4.0-0.beta4.3.i386.rpm used command " rpm -i" to install the vnc...but failed at " can not find the command".
so can some guys helpme ?
Give me some solution for this issue!?

You have to make sure that its also X86 or Sparc depend on your Hardware cause everyone have its own software.
