Problem installing Solaris on a V890 using flash

I am trying to use a flash image to install a v890.
I have the image on another box.
I am trying to use ftp to pull down the image.
But, when i go though the install, choose flash, enter the ftp info, it can not ever connect to the server.
I've never had this trouble before.
There are 4 gigaswift (ce) cards in the box.

Do you think its some kind of driver issue? It keeps saying it cant connect.

I have a crossover cable going from this new box to an extra interface on the ftp server, and i have verified connectivity (the box i am jumping has a OS and i verified they can talk)

Is there another way to get a flash archive on this box?

Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

Most likely when installing the two machines are failing to negotiate the link. You could try putting a hub/mini switch between them to see if that helps, otherwise maybe try NFS instead of ftp.

Make sure the driver is loading for the gigaswift. Seen this beofre whent he Netra's first came out. I fyou dont have the drivers for those gigaswifts then it won't communicate and it will fail. Have you tried doing a non-flash jump?

For a jump to get that far the driver will be loaded.

It wouldn't just be a case of the network settings being applied to the incorrect interface, would it?
