ftp resume feature

Hi all ,

Iam looking for an FTP clinet that supports "resume feature " , that is when iam trying to get and put a file , i will check weather the process of putting and getting a file is succesful ...
In case of the process fails i want to roll back everything and try to ftp againg ....

I heared of wget and wput and lftp and others ,,, i would like the help of somebody that have tried such cases .

my enviroment is SOlaris 9 over sparc

Most ftp clients have the reget command to restart an interupted download. But not all ftp servers support it. There is no "reput". You can only restart a download with ftp.

thanks for your help ,
but i was wondering if u cant guide me to a ftp tool that can accomudate with poor network connections . also maybe a tool that keeps a track or register files that gets in a databse like form .....
