Question 2 Questions

Hello Everbody

I hope you can give me a hand, I have some questions

The first one itīs about some message that I donīt know what means, I was looking about it. but nothing. This is the message

rsh[26207]: connection from bad port
bsd-gw[26205]: Error reading from connection: Bad file number

And my other question itīs about my browser, by default I get netscape, I download mozilla for solaris and everthing itīs fine but If I want to run mozilla I need to run the file (./runmozilla.sh) and I want to know how to change or instead of begings netscape, begings mozilla in my icon from control panel

Thanks in advance

rsh : there is a file /etc/services.
in the file there is a list of possible services and their port numbers.
If the port numbers of both computers differ there will be that
problem.
For the rest I monetary hve no clue.

The default CDE configuration directory is /usr/dt, it's not recommended to modify the default conf. Simply copy this directory under /etc modify the file you need then reload CDE (logout/login), the configuration stored on /etc/dt is now the default one.

You should find the string to modify on the /etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/dt.dt (or one of the .dt file of this directory) if your LANG is C.

Short help on www.utexas.edu/unix/lacil/CDE.html
good luck

bsd-gw[PID] is an error from the print spooler. Someone tried to do a network print to the server and the connection failed..
