I'm trying to add patch to C++ Forte Developper 6 update 2 from Site Sun .
when I try to add a patch eg:

Leila# patchadd 111729-02

Checking installed patches...
One or more patch packages included in
111729-02 are not installed on this system.

Patchadd is terminating.


Or looking into file README.111729-02
i see :

SO whrere is the problem. What I am missing ??

That error means that the package that is supposed to be patched is not on your machine already. You may need to install (or reinstall) the software before this patch will work.

I believe if you look at the patchfinder on Sun's website it will tell you which packages the patch modifies. Then do a pkginfo on each of those packages to see if any are missing.
