semaphores parameters
Hi,
I'm facing some problems with Sun Microsystem (running Solaris 8) while running EDA tools (Synopsys and Cadence). While we are compling design using Synopsys FPGA Complier, we received this error message "sem-create->semget->IPC_CREATE : No space left on device GMA failed Segmentation Fault " Same error message occurs when using Cadence Concept. Advise from Sun Microsystem Engineer is to adjust the value of the semaphores parameters of the system based on the requirement from the Software Vendor. I need someone to advise me on what is semaphores parameters in UNIX system. Where to adjust the value? thanks jennifer - Singapore

/etc/system - save a copy in case you don't do edit correctly - boot -a will allow you to change which file you use when booting (it will ask you parameters while booting - just use the default until you get to the /etc/system question - there you can put in your /etc/saved_system or whatever you save the copy as)
Maybe reading this will help. |
