login issue in solaris5.6

Hi,

I have reset the account on solaris 5.6. After resetting, User unable to login and putty gets closed once enter the password. Please suggest ASAP.....

It might be related to user shell just check and what shell is assign to user .

user shell is KSH

Can you successfully run that command as root ?

Then check user home directory and permissions, If the directory is not exists create a user home directory with the respective user permissions.
