Sun server hardware questions

I have no experience with sun servers but for fun and experience I would like to buy a low-end server and play with things. I have a few questions that maybe some of you who use these things will be able to answer:

- I believe they are also called PCI slots in the sun server, but are they the same as regular PCI slots in a IBM PC? Will I be able to put my old sound card, NIC, etc into it?

- The one I want to buy has a UltraSPARC II processor. Will all other UltraSPARC II processors work with my chipset and motherboard?

- The server I want to buy can hold 4 CPUs, are there any rules on how I can mix and match them? Do all of them have to be the same or what?

Also if you could lead me to any websites with info on sun hardware, etc that would be greatful.

Thanks in advance.
