shutdown question

Hi

is shutdown and init 0 are same command in solaris?

if you use "shutdown -i0 -g0 -y" yes...

shutdown brings the OS down to the Boot PROM level and powers off the system
init 0 brings the OS down to the Boot PROM level and halts at the OK prompt
