SunSolve Home Page

you have to register first. for a lot of docs and downloads you need a service contract!

Hello,

There's a symantec forum for volume manager if you want at

https://forums.symantec.com/syment/

or the following link is to the Storage Foundation Manuals on the symantec website which should be able to help you

Storage Foundation for UNIX/Linux Documentation Resources

If you can see the disk from Solaris format, you'll need to initialise it before you can bring it under Veritas control, to do this, look at the vxdisksetup command. You wil then be able to add it to a veritas disk group or whatever. If you dont use command line then there's a vxdiskadm utility or a vea gui which is provided with volume manager.

Hopefully this will help you a little.

Best of Luck.
