You have new mail in /var/mail//root
root@mcelvasp3 #

I beleive in LUN 20:

Code:
 LUN: 20
             Vendor: NETAPP
             Product: LUN
             OS Device Name: /dev/rdsk/c4t24d0s2

Is the LUN configuration still intact? This would suggest that the LUN has either been removed, overwritten or has lost it's assignment to the server.

Do you have a way to audit the command history for LUN management?

I dont have access the to the LUN management, its somebody else who does that, and they tend to say everything is fine on their side

May I suppose you try as root two commands
Code:
lsusb

or
Code:
lsusb -v

for details and after doing so, have a look at your fstab-file, there you should insert any of that devices.

Code:
 lsusb -v
bash: lsusb: command not found

I dont think this is a solaris 10 command
