Looking for Xinetd for Solaris

I got the xinetd src from synack archive but when I try to compile I get errors all over the place, so am just wondering if anyone has a pre patched working version of xinetd for solaris 7 or higher there can share ???

thanks

I hope you know that xinetd conflicts with the inetd that ships with Solaris <=9,
and with the SMF that ships with Solaris >=10 (has replaced inetd).
Maybe you can simply use the Solaris standard tool? Information:
Code:
man inetd
man inetd.conf

am using solaris 7 for a legacy project and it requires a mux connection and the developer told me there used xinetd but there lost there own archived version so I had to get it from archives on website but it mostly for linux however it dose have some solaris support but seams it needs patching for the src to compile.

Do you have a binary? Can you maybe find a version string in that binary?

You're going to need an OLD version of xinetd - Solaris 7 has got to be at least 15 years old.

Getting it to compile shouldn't be hard with an older version.

I have xinetd-2.1.8.1, I think that's oldest one I have found but still has issues.
