Question Setting up Solaris & ZFS for the first time

Hello All

I’ve made the decision to switch my storage server from FreeNAS to Solaris. I opted to use FreeNAS as it has ZFS and until BTRFS is stable, it’s the best option (IMHO) for backup and network storage.
The switch was facilitated by the USB stick that FreeNAS was on got lost during a move a couple weeks ago, and wanting to trunk NIC’s. I’ve also never used Solaris, and wanted to learn.

Long story short, can anyone point me in the right direction for a setup guide of sorts?
What I am looking to do :
- Install Solaris (11.?)
- Import the existing ZFS pool
- Setup an SSD to be used as ZFS cache

I’m fairly Linux competent, but I’ve never used anything other than *buntu and OpenSUSE, nor do I have any experience with ZFS outside of the FreeNAS GUI.

Any and all help / suggestions are welcome!

Thanks!
