Chinese characters on Sol 2.7

Hi there,

I need to get a Chinese disclaimer attached to an email on a Solaris 2.7 box. The disclaimer we use is in English and stored as a text file although I've been asked to see if we can add the Chinsese one?

Is it simply just a matter of adding the Chinese locale to the OS or is there more invloved?

Cheers,
H.

I've got a bit further in that it's actually Solaris 2.8 install on the box and locale -a shows zh and zh_TW are installed on the box (Chinese and Taiwainese Chinese) so I'm slightly now optomistic.

Anyone have any suggestions on opening vi and copying and pasting the Chinese text in and saving the files as it currently doesn't seem to like the Chinese characters.

H.
