Operating Systems Solaris Unable to enable ncp

The point is we can have one Static IP and one Dynamic one (allocated from the ISP), within Red hat. Why can't we achieve the same in Solaris?

install-solaris - install the Solaris operating system SYNOPSIS
install-solaris install-solaris invokes the Solaris Install program. Depending on graphical capability and available memory at the time of invocation, install-solaris invokes either a text-based installer or a graphical installer.
