Restore an uninstalled zone?

Hi all,

I recently halted and uninstalled a zone and it is now in a 'configured' state.

I now need to get this zone back.

The zoneconfig is still there.

df -h from the global zone shows that the data is no longer there.

zfs list shows the zone is still there and taking up space (along associated snapshots).

Is there anyway I can get this data back (not relying on the snapshots as these aren't up-to-date)?

many thanks.

There is not. A "configured" zone is essentially just an XML file.

When you uninstall a zone all its data is wiped out.

Deleting a zone just removes the configuration file in /etc/zones/, but its data was long gone when you deleted the zone in question.
