Supported Memory Configurations on Netra T2000

I need to upgrade the memory configuration on our T2000s to 24 Gb. I presently have 8x2Gb DIMMS in Rank 0 and 8x1Gb DIMMS in Rank 1, but the OS only recognizes 16Gb. How can I upgrade these T2000s to 24Gb?

this is info from the "system hanbook"

Quote:
DIMM slots per memory controller: 4
DIMM type: DDR2 ECC registered DIMMs
DIMM size: 512-MB, 1-GB, 2-GB, or 4-GB
Maximum capacity: 64GB (when configured with 4-GB DIMMs)
Note: DIMMS must be installed in sets of 8. Two basic memory configurations are supported: 8-DIMM or 16-DIMM. All DIMMs must have identical capacity. An 8 DIMM configuration fully populates Rank 0 slots.
this said, you can have 16x the dimms you use... which is 8gb, 16gb, 32gb or 64gb. there is no way (from what i can see) to get a 24gb configuration.
