Solaris 9 IP conflict

Hi Gurus

I am in a strange situation.

I have a SUN sparc server . The server was having an IP say X..... (this IP X is now being used by another server)..... I have just installed fresh solaris 9 OS on the same server and given new IP say Y.
I also configured probe based IPMP with ce0 and ce1 .
The problem is that when I do if_mpadm -d ce0 , the old IP X appears in the ce0:1 ... So its causing IP conflict with another server which is having the IP X

Thanks Duke ... wil post the confif files shortly.
some more info abt the problem..

the Ip X is now the cluster IP of another system so the cluster is throwing continous error saying hardware address of ce0( oh new server) is trying to be our IP address X....
