Sun Solaris HBA & Driver identification help

Gents,

I am new with Solaris and working on couple of Solaris 8 and 9's.

1. ) I am having issues finding which model of HBA is connected to the host.
I got a link to kb qlogic com/KanisaPlatform/Publishing/130/10441_f.html
But, it is incomplete as read in many places.. Do we have updated version of this table..
Can someone post a link..

2. ) I am having issues finding which HBA driver version.
for ex:
HBA name: QLogic Corp.-375-3108-xx-0
host WWN: 200000E08B1C836F
vendor name: QLogic Corp.
model: 375-3108-xx
firmware version: 3.3.119
driver version: 20071218-2.19
serial number: Unknown
vendor code: 0xe08b

Dont know what that driver version relate to..

I am new so apologies for any trouble..

Thanks,
Ash

Hey

Hey Duke,

Thanks for looking into this..

I want to know what the HBA model and it's driver version is from the below..

HBA name: QLogic Corp.-375-3108-xx-0
host WWN: 200000E08B1C836F
vendor name: QLogic Corp.
model: 375-3108-xx
firmware version: 3.3.119
driver version: 20071218-2.19
serial number: Unknown
vendor code: 0xe08b

I want a mapping table to identify different hba models and driver versions connected to solaris host.

Thanks,
Ash

you can identify every (supported) hba in the "sun system handbook" with the model number (model: 375-3108-xx ). the tool is accessible from http://support.oracle.com (you need a valid support contract to access the site).

Hey

Duke Thanks,

I understand that.. We are very small company and don't have a SUN / Oracle account.

What I just need is if you can paste the document for these driver translations.

I know the document id, its 216809

Thanks again..
Ash
