Difference between CPU CHIP and CPU ID

Hi All,

What is the difference between CPU CHIP and CUP ID on SUN/ Oracle M5000 servers..

what is your exact problem? what are you referring to? whole chip to core/thread?

you have the 2,53 GHz Sparv64VII cpu. in your domain are two physical cpu (0 and 1) combined at LSB 00 (Logical System Board). every cpu has 4 cores with two threads each.

you can get more information from the XSCF running the commands:
