Thinking about taking a Sun OS Cert

What are your thoughts on the Sun Certified Solaris Associate (SCSAS) certification? Is it worth the effort or should I just by pass this and go straight into the Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) certification?

It depends on your knowledge regarding Linux/Unix commang line (creating catalogs, editting files with Vi, etc). If you are on really beginning level at this then you should probably take SCSAS first.

See the list of topics for SCSA here:

Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA)

and see how familiar you are with these topics, and then you can decide.

If you can afford it, I suggest you take a SUN training course, it's really useful

Good luck !
