prstat
vmstat
sar - > need to cron off sar
swap
iostat
top - might need to install
lsof - might need to install

For me, sar is the best monitoring tool. Its native to solaris, collects all manner of data over the course of the day and allows you to filter through it for disk, cpu, memory, network, ram, swap issues.

However, you do need to configure it in cron. e.g.

##############################################
# SAR Monitoring
* * * * 0-6 /usr/lib/sa/sa1
5 18 * * 1-5 /usr/lib/sa/sa2 -s 8:00 -e 18:01 -i 1200 -A
##############################################

Guys..
One quick doubt reg the same above ..
In my environment almost all machines shows for the prstat o/p the average
Total: 1 processes, 3 lwps, load averages: 39.45, 36.50, 33.97 or above ( not always ) ...my doubt is that in all docs that i read people say a value of 5 means high cpu usage , but i don't know why it wud even go to this value...( note , we have production servers running which ran over 200 value . )
