Known OpenSolaris Issue Affecting Keyboard Layout and Characters Displayed
This Tech Tip describes the workaround for an issue when using the keyboard attached to Dell PowerEdge 2950 III & R900 systems, and the keyboard layout is set to "unknown" after an install. This issue occurs either with a keyboard and mouse connected through PS/2 or via Avocent USB KVM switch.
