fsarchiver 0.1.8 (Default branch)

fsarchiver is a system tool that allows you tosave the contents of a filesystem to a compressed archive file. The filesystem can be restored on a partition that has a different size, and it canbe restored on a different filesystem. Unliketar/dar, fsarchiver also creates the filesystemwhen it extracts the data to partitions.Everything is checksummed in the archive in orderto protect the data. If the archive is corrupt, you just lose the current file, not the wholearchive.License: GNU General Public License v2Changes:
Preservation of Reiser4, JFS, and XFS filesystem attributes (label, UUID, block size) was implemented.
