Ivy is a compiler and runtime library for anextended dialect of C that checks type, memory,and concurrency safety. Ivy supports the full Clanguage, and relies on a small number oflightweight annotations in the source code to keeptime and space overheads reasonable. This is the first public release of Ivy. Itincorporates the previously available Deputy(type-safety for C) and HeapSafe(memory-management safety for C) projects.
