unicap is a library to access different kinds ofcapture devices. Device drivers are loaded with aplugin system so that new drivers can be easilyadded. Currently, it has support forvideo-4-linux, video-4-linux-2, IIDC cameras, andvideo-to-firewire converters, and provides GTK widgets for live video display and access to device properties. Support for UVC cameras and their recent driver modifications was improved. Some color conversion routines were added and fixed. GTK+ apps can now register their own color format conversion callback.
