mlocate 0.20 (Default branch)
mlocate is a new locate implementation. The "m"stands for "merging", because updatedb reuses theexisting database to avoid rereading most of thefile system, which makes updatedb faster and doesnot trash the system caches as much. The locate(1)utility is intended to be completely compatible toslocate. It also attempts to be compatible to GNUlocate, when it does not conflict with slocatecompatibility.License: GNU General Public License v2Changes:
