xpra 0.0.4 (Default branch)

X Persistent Remote Applications (xpra) is "screenfor X". It lets you run applications remotely(like ordinary X or VNC), but unlike ordinary X,these applications are "persistent" if you loseyour connection, or even if you want to switch toanother computer. Also unlike VNC, they areordinary applications on your desktop managed byyour window manager, not trapped in a box.License: GNU General Public License (GPL)Changes:
The most notable new feature in this release isthe ability to restart or upgrade a running xpraserver, without disturbing the programs runninginside it. In addition, many important bugs werefixed, including one where windows wouldoccasionally stop updating, one where straybusy-looping processes would be left behind onservers, one where an X server bug caused massiveslowdowns (now worked around), and so on.Additionally, the backspace key should now alwayswork, and window class/instance information isexported.
